A Deputy Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is seeking to become the next National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
As the NPP rebuilds ahead of the 2028 general elections following the party’s heavy defeat in the 2024 polls, some political analysts have indicated a person of Owusu-Bempah’s caliber will be ideal for the position of National Organiser.
One of the analysts, Kwaku Ntow described Mr Owusu-Bempah as bold and fearless, attributes who will engage confidence in the NPP to recapture power.
He highlighted Owusu-Bempah’s exploits with the Fixing the Country Movement, Let My Vote Count Alliance and other pressure group and his strategic skills and qualities in communications as a plus for NPP’s future.
“Ernest Owusu-Bempah is a straightforward person, very articulate, bold and fearless. We know the role he has played in Ghana’s politics, his role in the Let My Vote Count Alliance.
“As the NPP seeks to rebuild following the heavy defeat in 2024, having him at the leadership level of the party will serve them well, Mr Ntow told 3news.com.
Meanwhile, the NPP has formed a committee to investigate why they lost the 2024 elections.
Mr Ntow urged the leadership of the NPP and all its supporters to cooperate with the committee and to accept the findings in good faith and work with it.
