New appointments show NDC’s intent to secure victory in 2024 elections – Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has congratulated the people who have been appointed to various directorates and other positions in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr Mahama said the quality and breadth of the appointments offer scope for inclusive leadership and efficient management of the party.

“The appointments show the NDC’s intent to secure victory in the 2024 elections.

“I want to commend the Council of Elders, the National and Functional executives, and all stakeholders for their seamless handling of the appointments, which underscores the close working relations established since the reorganisation exercise,” he tweeted.

The party has also appointed former Minister of Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah as its Director of Elections and IT ahead of the crucial 2024 polls.

Godwin Kudzo Tameklo will now serve as the party’s Director of Legal Affairs while Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, the former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, has been appointed to lead the party’s Inter-Party and Civil Society Organizations Relations.

This role involves building collaborative relationships with other political parties and civil society groups.
