Telecom giant, MTN Ghana, has announced that it will be undertaking a planned system upgrade on its Mobile Money on Sunday.
MTN announced that the system upgrade will result in the disruption of all services on the MoMo platform.
This exercise is to enhance service delivery, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, the company said in a short statement to customers.
The statement stressed “Y’ello Valued Customer, Please be informed that there is a planned system upgrade from 12:00am – 6:30am on Sunday, February 15, 2026, which will result in the disruption of all services on the MoMo platform.
“This exercise is to enhance service delivery and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
