Africa World Airlines (AWA) has marked its 13th anniversary with the launch of a new customer reward scheme, the “Medase” Loyalty Promo, at Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
In his address, Mr. Luolin Cui credited the airline’s success to the dedication of employees, the support of partners, and the loyalty of passengers.
“As we celebrate 13 years of Africa World Airlines, we have grown into the most reliable and punctual airline. This achievement is possible because of the dedication of our staff, the support of our partners, and the trust of our cherished passengers,” he said.
He further disclosed plans to expand AWA’s network across the continent and officially announced the introduction of the Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP), designed to reward customer loyalty.
The new Medase Loyalty Promo, named after the Akan word for “thank you,” introduces tiered categories that offer passengers exclusive benefits based on miles accrued. The categories include Nagode Ruby (from the Hausa word for “thank you” in Nigeria), Shidaa Emerald, Topaya Gold, and Akpe Platinum.
Each tier offers unique rewards to enhance the travel experience of frequent flyers. According to the airline, customers can sign up for the programme via its official website.
“The Medase Loyalty Promo is a special way to show appreciation to our customers for their continuous trust in us. The best is yet to come,” Mr. Yingli added.
AWA currently operates flights on domestic and regional routes and continues to position itself as a leading carrier in West Africa.
